CORPORATE PROFILE
Our client, a New York City based international relief and development agency facilitating healthier, more fulfilling lives in communities struggling with hunger, poverty, disaster, and disease, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their Human Resource Team.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, forecast, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. This is an exempt remote position.
ROLE DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the talent acquisition strategy and process.

Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.

Develop targeted recruitment campaigns using various channels such as social media, internal job postings, and internal and external job boards.

Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.

Schedules interviews and oversees the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
-
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience. At least five years of managing all talent acquisition strategies or recruitment phases. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
RELATED SKILLS

Experience developing and implementing full-cycle recruiting strategies

Working knowledge of social media recruiting tools and techniques

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.

Proactive and independent with the ability to take the initiative.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

Proficient with applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
Annual salary range of $80,000-85,000.
