Summary and Corporate Profile:

An international Human Resource and Marketing consultancy is seeking a Talent Acquisition Officer to identify, acquire, assess, and hire candidates to fill open positions for clients. The Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for learning and managing an ongoing cycle of processes related to attracting, sourcing, recruiting and hiring suitable employees.


The ideal candidate must ensure the staffing needs of our clients are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind. Also, must be knowledgeable with ATS and CRM and savvy in using digital to achieve results.

Role Description and Responsibilities

  • Consult with leaders, hiring managers and human resources team on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation and sourcing strategies.

  • Devise and implement effective sourcing strategies and processes to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent.

  • Form close relationships with department supervisors and hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations.

  • Continuously develop and actively build a database/pipeline of candidates.

  • Place and update all job postings in various Media including internet/intranet sites, social networks, community boards and staffing partners.

  • Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume/CV review, preliminary and virtual candidate interviews, recommend final selection of applicants and close qualified candidates.

  • Develop pre-screening and interview questionnaires as well as other standardized screening techniques.

  • Assess the skills, qualifications, experience, interest, personality and salary requirements of potential candidates.

  • Arrange pre-employment testing, background and reference screenings.

  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.

  • Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders.

  • Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.

  • Manage the employer and employee relationship.

  • Use methods such as branding and marketing to attract the best and brightest talent.

  • Attend client meetings and facilitate staff meetings.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Experience and Education

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in HR Management or related field a plus.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of talent acquisition or similar role required.

  • Technical recruiting experience a plus.

  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.

  • Professional Certification (ex: SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
