JOB TITLE:  Commercial Director

REPORTS TO:  Chief Operations Officer (COO)

ROLE OBJECTIVE:

Our Client a FINTECH company focused on driving financial inclusion through the provision of simplified financial services on feature and smartphones Is seeking a Commercial Director to be responsible for consumer and business customer acquisition and for driving adoption and usage of company’s product by utilizing all sales and marketing channels. She/he will also be responsible for product development to suit market trends and future needs of customers across various segments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Generates leads of potential institutional customers focusing on SMEs, merchants, schools, churches and identifiable organizations

  • Manages pipeline and potential new customer tracking to ensure information is current for efficient customer follow-ups and management

  • Responsible for pricing determination and creating a portfolio of different solution offerings

  • Manages relationship with clients to ensure that they receive the level of service they deserve and resolve any issues arising

  • Identifies additional avenues for revenue generation within each company signed on to ensure more integration and higher value proposition from the Company

  • Conducts presentations to sell the Company’s value proposition and support in closing deals

  • Creates tailored PowerPoint presentations for potential customers

  • Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer

Competencies/Qualifications/skills /Experience

  • University Degree in Marketing, Sales, Social Sciences or its equivalent

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Marketing, Sales and Business Development

  • Proficiency with IT software such as Excel, Power Point, Word is essential

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written English essential

  •  Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate solutions and develop new skills.

  • Be a strong team player
